The Eaton HFD3100 is a 100-amp, 3-pole, 600V Series C F-Frame molded case circuit breaker manufactured by Eaton (formerly Cutler-Hammer). Designed for industrial and commercial feeder and branch circuit protection, the HFD3100 features thermal-magnetic trip technology with LI (Long-Time, Instantaneous) protection and a 65kAIC interrupting rating at 480V. The Series C designation indicates Eaton's current production F-Frame platform, which is a direct replacement for legacy Westinghouse HFB3 and older Cutler-Hammer HFD3 units. The HFD3100 is HACR-rated for HVAC and refrigeration applications and is compatible with Eaton NEMA-type switchboards, motor control centers, and large panelboards. It features a bolt-on mounting configuration and accepts aluminum or copper conductors from #6 AWG to 350 kcmil.
