The Eaton MDS840 is a 4000-amp, 3-pole Magnum DS low voltage power circuit breaker in the double frame configuration (ABCABC pole arrangement). The MDS840 is designed for the highest-capacity industrial power distribution applications including utility substations, large data centers, and heavy industrial facilities. It is available in drawout (D/O) configuration and supports Eaton's Digitrip electronic trip units. The MDS840 provides 85kA interrupting capacity at 480V and is rated for use in metal-enclosed low voltage switchgear per ANSI C37.13 and UL 1066 standards.
